Keep Calm and Study On

God has been working amazing things in our family's life!  Unfortunately, His work is being done through a financial hardship!  However, this hardship has caused us to completely trust and rely on Him in ways that we have never done before!  God is so good, All the time, even in the midst of hard times! 

During the break between the study "What Happens When Women Say Yes To God" and this new study "A Confident Heart", my husband and I were asked to lead a bible study focused on Orphans and caring for the orphans.  The study is called "Orphan Justice: How to Care for Orphans beyond Adopting".  www.orphanjustice.com  Our two children are adopted and they have been in our family since their first breaths.  They are our joy and our Gift from God!  But, we've always wondered if we were to stop there!  We worked in Africa on a mission trip with the orphans and God laid it on our hearts at that time that He had more in store for our lives.  But, then our children came and they took precedence.  Through this book, we are learning how God commands us to take care of the widows and the orphans.  His instructions on this are all throughout the Bible!  This study has put a burden on our hearts for the orphans, but hasn't given us clear direction as to if there is a next step towards this.  It is our prayer right now for His direction. 

We think, right now is not the right time since we are in such a financially poor position, but we know that God can work ALL things for His good!  So, we continue to trust in Him!

I am looking forward to getting to know our Group-24 through A Confident Heart and cannot wait to see what God will do in me, through me and around me!
